Lacroix Private Medicine is growing rapidly and is currently seeking a Medical Secretary for its West Island clinic.

You will report to the Clinic Manager, who will be your go-to resource, and you’ll also benefit from the support of an entire team! You will play a key role, and your collaboration will be essential.

With full confidence, we will entrust you with our valued clients so that you can support them and provide a warm and welcoming experience that reflects Lacroix’s standards: professionalism, attentiveness, respect, and kindness.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients

  • Answer phone calls

  • Confirm patient appointments

  • Present our service offerings and sell health plans or services based on client needs

  • Manage daily payment reconciliations and required accounting follow-ups (POS system, sales reports, etc.)

  • Scan test results and other documents

  • Schedule appointments with specialists

  • Perform various administrative and related tasks

Skills Required

  • Excellent French and professional English

  • Strong organizational skills; efficient and able to multitask

  • Fast learner, adaptable to change

  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Medesync is an asset)

  • Medical or dental secretary course

  • Autonomy and ability to work in a team

  • Friendly, courteous, and good communication skills

  • Sales experience (an asset)

  • Knowledge of medical terminology (an asset)
