NexWav is looking for a pharmacist to join the pharmacy department of a Health Quebec – Montérégie-Ouest facility.

A clinical mandate intended for a rigorous, autonomous person comfortable in an acute care environment.

The mandate in brief

Your contribution

On a daily basis, you will be called to:

• Validate prescriptions in an acute care hospital context;
  
• Analyze pharmacological records and ensure the safety of pharmacotherapy;
  
• Validate comparative drug assessments;
  
• Utilize the validation, digitization modules, and clinical features of Gespharx;
  
• Consult and update relevant information in the Quebec Health Record;
  
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, pharmacists, and other professionals;
  
• Contribute to the continuity, quality, and safety of care.
  

You are the person we are looking for if you…

• Hold a recognized degree in pharmacy;
  
• Hold a master's degree in advanced pharmacotherapy obtained in Quebec;
  
• Are a member in good standing of the Order of Pharmacists of Quebec;
  
• Have concrete experience in an acute care hospital setting in Quebec;
  
• Have experience in prescription validation;
  
• Master Gespharx, including its validation, digitization modules, and clinical features;
  
• Are able to validate comparative drug assessments in Gespharx;
  
• Have your own access to the Quebec Health Record;
  
• Master French orally and in writing and are able to write in English.
  

Professional requirements

The selected candidate must also:

• Hold a valid practice permit for at least one year;
  
• Have comprehensive professional liability insurance coverage of category A from FARPOPQ;
  
• Meet the requirements of Law 31;
  
• Hold a valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification;
  
• Comply with applicable immunization requirements for healthcare workers;
  
• Agree to undergo a background check.
