Class 5 Driver

• Part-time, 2 days/week
• Salary: $22 to $28/hour
• Evening shift, approximately between 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
• Company vehicle provided
• $30/month cell phone allowance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your main task will be to perform local and regional deliveries (Quebec City and Montreal) of biological materials or medical devices. This position will require you to perform heavy or light lifting depending on the type of delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive a company vehicle and transport products between different clinics.
• Load and unload equipment safely for secure and damage-free transport.
• Verify all orders upon delivery and deliver orders according to company specifications.
• Ensure equipment and the truck are in good working order by following delivery maintenance procedures.
• Become familiar with completing delivery logs and administrative documents to ensure optimal delivery service.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license and have a clean driving record issued by the SAAQ.
• Knowledge of TDG and WHMIS is an asset.
• As an essential service provider, you must be comfortable driving at all times and in all road conditions.
• A good understanding of ISO policies and procedures is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliability and flexibility.
• Good decision-making skills and ability to work independently.
• High school diploma and/or related experience.
• Non-smoking environment

Salary

$22 to $28/hour, depending on experience and training

$2.25/hour premium on Saturdays and $1/hour on evenings Week

Schedule

• On-site work;
• Variable work schedule depending on the company's needs;
  • Monday to Friday, departure around 2 p.m.
  • Occasional Saturday work
